Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: July 2026

At Pharma Plus, we believe everyone should be able to shop for their health with confidence. We are committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, or who browse using a keyboard alone.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act, which applies to us under the European Union (Accessibility Requirements of Products and Services) Regulations 2023.

Conformance status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that most of the website meets the standard, and we are working to close the remaining gaps.

How we assessed this website

We assessed the website in July 2026 through self-assessment, using:

  • Automated testing with axe DevTools on our homepage, collection pages, and product pages
  • Manual keyboard-only testing of the full purchase journey on desktop and mobile, including our cart drawer
  • Screen reader testing with VoiceOver on iPhone, covering full purchase journey
  • Testing at 200% browser zoom
  • A review of image alternative text across the site

Automated testing found no issues, and the full purchase journey — from browsing products to completing checkout — can be completed using a keyboard alone and using VoiceOver on a mobile device.

Known limitations

  • Checkout is provided by Shopify, our e-commerce platform. We rely on Shopify's own accessibility conformance for this part of the purchase journey.
  • Third-party content, such as customer reviews and embedded widgets, is provided by external services and may not fully meet our accessibility standard. We work with our providers to improve this.

Tell us about a problem

If you have difficulty using any part of this website, or you find something that doesn't work with your assistive technology, please tell us — we want to fix it.

Please describe the problem and the page it happened on. We aim to respond within 5 working days.

Enforcement

If you contact us about an accessibility problem and are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), the body responsible for monitoring compliance with accessibility regulations for e-commerce in Ireland: www.ccpc.ie.
